Warriors: Into the Wild

By: Erin Hunter

Genre: teenage/fantasy fiction

Warriors is about a kitten called Rusty who wanders out of his “twoleg” home and into the woods beyond his boundary.  There, he meets two feral cats who ask him to join their clan.  Rusty accepts and grows up being a brave apprentice of ThunderClan called Fireheart.  Fireheart then becomes a brave warrior and has many adventures with his clan.  Read the book if you like animal adventures.

I loved the series because I love animals and because it reminds me of my deceased cat Sweet Pea.  I think that Erin Hunter can really see through a cat’s eyes and capture what they are feeling.  This book is great for people who love animals and adventures because this book puts them together perfectly.
