The Baby-Sitter (Point Horror #5)

By R.L. Stine

The Baby-Sitter is a great mystery story by R.L. Stine.  Jenny, a high-school student, decided to baby-sit for the Hagens, but the job almost killed her. Mr. Hagen’s little daughter had died when a baby-sitter was baby-sitting and Mr. Hagen decided to take revenge on all the baby-sitters.  Jenny, who baby-sits their son Donny, starts hearing a hoarse whisper over and over again. One time, she finds out that Mr. Hagen is dead, so of course, she thinks he’s dead. But then one night she hears the hoarse whisper again. Her assassin is back.

R.L. Stine used so much description on how Jenny thought and felt. She felt scared because she could still see the picture of Mr. Hagen trying to kill her. Jenny thought so much on how she thought she killed Mr. Hagen and on how she thought he came back, alive. The book is filled with so much suspense; you just want to get to the end. I loved the book and I hope you will too.

Addie, is this the book that you were reading that was all like “hey bebes, im back.” because that one seemed really weird. I might read that when i totally forget about the head in a box thing that I saw in the art museum. (it was actually called zero, but whatever.) that thing totally creeped me out so horror books are not the kind of books im looking forward to reading.
