Matilda (by Roald Dahl) is a fascinating story about a little girl. Her parents who adopted her are tacky and rude, although Matilda is smart. She’s pure genius. When her parents say she has to go to school, Matilda is as happy as ever. But school is much too easy for Matilda. Her teacher Miss Honey tries to get her into a higher grade but The Trunchbull is such a mess that she doesn’t let Matilda. Matilda is worried about her struggles and how to get out of them.

This book is full of humor and sorrow. I recommend this book for ages 7+. There is a tremendous amount of laughter and love when you read this book. I think every soul that’s on the earth should read this wonderfully written book.
